It’s very strange to see a player training with a club he’s not being announced as signing for yet, but that’s exactly what’s happened in Eboue Kouassi’s case.
The midfielder has not kicked a ball for Celtic in well over a year; due to injury and then not being selected latterly.
It was speculated he could go on loan this month and it looks like she’s on the verge of a move after he was spotted training with Genk.
Neither club have confirmed the deal to this point but SunSport report and pictures on social media show the Celtic midfielder in his Genk gear.

Celtic have just brought in another defensive midfielder in Ismaila Soro who is just waiting on his work permit. There’s no real future for Kouassi at Celtic and the 22-year-old will go down as an expensive mistake.
Celtic paid in excess of £3m for Kouassi back in 2017 according to TransferMarkt.
