The Express and Star are claiming Celtic linked Kamil Grosicki is on the brink of joining West Brom before the window closes on Friday.

This is after reports on Wednesday morning which suggested Celtic were interested in bringing the player to Scotland before the deadline – read here.

The winger, 31, is out of contract in the summer and presents a real bargain for many clubs who would like to sign the player.

Grosicki can play on either the left or right hand side of a front three but has predominantly played left hand side for Hull, excelling in a team which has struggled.

It’s possible he was on a list of Celtic targets but there seems to have been no official approach and the reports were coming from down south.

Neil Lennon has been coy on any further signings before Friday evening – we’ll have to hold our breath to see if anyone else comes in.
