The 22-year-old, who has been impressive since his move to Glasgow in January 2022, has caught the eye of various top teams with his performances.

O’Riley has been in fine form for Celtic, contributing six goals and five assists in 12 Scottish Premiership appearances, along with two assists in the Champions League. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, Leicester, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg, and Lille all reportedly monitoring his progress. Despite signing a new contract with Celtic in September that ties him to the club until 2027, there is lots of speculation surrounding the player. However, any potential transfer is more likely to occur next summer rather than in the upcoming January window.

O’Riley has recently opened up on a potential Celtic exit and said, “I have played in the Champions League against many good teams and I think I am ready (to take the next step). But I am already playing for a good team. It is difficult to say what will happen.” [SunSport]

O’Riley’s recent call-up to the Denmark senior squad for their games against Slovenia and Northern Ireland further underlines his rising profile. The interest from numerous high-profile clubs, including those in the Premier League and Bundesliga, suggests that his transfer value could escalate, especially if a bidding war ensues among these top teams.
