As Celtic’s pursuit of Aaron Mooy looks set to end in success, a quote from ex-Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has come to light.
The Hoops Icon left the club this summer after ten years of brilliant service where he helped the bhoys make history.
Tom has played with a lot of great footballers in his time, but when asked back in 2020 about the best players he’s had the privilege of playing alongside — Aaron’s name came up.

Answering the question on Celtic’s instagram Tom said: “Fortunate to have plaved with so many good players but I always enjoy being in the same line-up as James Forrest for Celtic and Aaron Mooy with Australia”
Tom isn’t a bad player himself and he recognises talent when he sees it.
Aaron has had a fantastic career to this point and coming into Celtic to play for Ange Postecoglou could yield yet more success for the player.

He’s an Ange Postecoglou type of player and can add depth to the middle of the park.
Celtic waved goodbye to Ismaila Soro, Tom Rogic and Nir Bitton this summer. It makes sense to strengthen that area of the pitch
Journalist Mark Hendry claims the deal could be done as quick as today [Monday July 18].
