Rogic played his last game for Celtic back at the end of December during the club’s 4-3 win at Pittodrie. Since then the player has been away on international duty and played most of Australia’s games in the Asian Cup apart from their quarter-final tie due to suspension.
The last 16 tie Tom was involved in seen the player play 112 minutes of football before being substituted. A long time when you consider Rogic doesn’t usually play 90 minutes of football.
Brendan Rodgers is having to contend with a lot of injuries to big players and it seems to be a recurring theme. Benkovic out until March, Boyata rumoured to be out for a long period also, Rogic now out means Celtic are having to cope with some major lay offs.
