Celtic fans have been invited to gather at Celtic Park tonight to welcome the Scottish champions back to Glasgow following their title-clinching triumph at Tannadice.

The North Curve, home to the club’s ultras and safe-standing section, issued the rallying call shortly after Brendan Rodgers’ side swept aside Dundee United 5-0 to secure a fourth successive Scottish Premiership crown.
While the celebrations were in full flow in Dundee, supporters back in Glasgow are being urged to make their way to Celtic Park to greet the returning squad and coaching staff.
The message from the North Curve read simply: “Welcome the team home to Celtic Park”

It’s become tradition in recent seasons for the Celtic fans to turn out in big numbers at the stadium when the title has been sealed away from home. Flares, flags, and chants have all been part of the scene as players arrive back to a heroes’ reception.
The team are expected back in Glasgow later this evening, and with the championship now officially wrapped up, the focus will soon shift to the Scottish Cup final and the chance to complete yet another domestic treble. Aberdeen lie in wait in that match at the end of next month.
But for now, the green and white are ready to give their champions the homecoming they deserve.
