KIERAN TIERNEY was, and is still, loved by Celtic fans. After joining the club at a young age, he rose through the ranks and became a star within the first team. After a summer of constant links to other clubs, he departed Celtic for a record fee and joined Arsenal.
Arsenal fans then fell in love with the Scottish international, after overcoming his injuries he had shown just how good he was. However, after Arteta made an addition to his squad in the summer, Kieran Tierney has struggled for minutes.
Martin Keown believes that Tierney may have to move away from the London club and is confused as to how a player with his work rate is not starting for Arsenal.
😰 “A problem is brewing for Tierney.”
👎 “Arteta doesn’t believe in Tierney as much as we might believe in him.”
❌ “He strikes me as someone who won’t [stay] if he’s not getting a game.”

Nuno Tavares has now played more games in the premier league this season and has also set up a goal more than Tierney’s zero. However, those that watch the side play will admit that the former Celtic star is better than Tavares. It is clear to see that Arteta does not agree with this and is instead persisting with the Portuguese defender and Tierney may have to find himself a way out.
