Three former Celtic players were involved in a testimonial on Sunday. Charlie Mulgrew, Mark Wilson, and Scott Brown laced up their boots several years after retiring.
The trio played in the Scotland Legends team for Queen of the South man Stephen Dobbie’s testimonial at Palmerston Park. Their team won by a notable five goals to one, with Kenny Miller and James McFadden among the scorers:

For the Bhoys, who won a few league titles together under Neil Lennon at Celtic, it would have been nice to get another run out together.
Nowadays, Wilson can be regularly seen on punditry duties on Clyde 1 Superscorebord meanwhile Brown is dipping his hand into management. Currently out of work, the quadruple-treble-winning skipper was last at Fleetwood in September.

Mulgrew does a bit of both. The 37-year-old sometimes appears on Sky Sports and BBC shows but is similarly looking to get into coaching and management having recently got some vital experience at Lennoxtown to see how Brendan Rodgers works, and at Brighton to look at how Roberto De Zerbi does things.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see either Brown or Mulgrew return to Celtic in some capacity in the future, although it seems as though Wilson’s post-football career is limited to the studio.
