Celtic look to be in a transfer battle for the services of French striker Thomas Henry as the Hoops bid was confirmed by the frontman’s agent.
Speaking to Football Insider, the strikers UK agency representative revealed that several clubs had placed a bid in for the 26-year old who looks set to depart Belgian side OH Leuven.
“There are a number of clubs who have expressed an interest in signing Thomas before the transfer window closes.
“My business partner Dusan has received offers from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the UK for Thomas, and he will consider all his options before making a decision on his future.”
With it being expected that Odsonne Edouard will leave Glasgow this summer, as he approaches the final year of his contract, Ange Postecoglou looks like he wants his replacement in right away.
The 6ft 4′ striker appears to have a lot of good attributes that would fit the new Hoops manager’s system.
At this stage, the Frenchman is still to decide where his future will be with sides from across Europe interested in bringing him to their club.
Fingers crossed, moving to Glasgow is an exciting proposition for a talented player who will be coming into the prime years of his career.
