‘This Team is Amazing’ – £12.5million Star Loving Parkhead Life

FILIP BENKOVIC is hoping his injury problems are behind him as he gets ready to go full throttle with Celtic in the next 14 days.

The bhoys have five games in three competitions over a two week period and it’s all hands on deck for everyone at the club.

First up is Hibs and Benkovic believes Celtic have turned a corner, declaring Celtic played their best game of the season before the international break.

The Croation under 21 started the St Johnstone game where Celtic ran out 6-0 winners.

“I just want to give my best. Hard work will pay off. I had some injury but I’m doing extra work to prepare my body for the highest level.”

“I really enjoyed the St Johnstone game. We played good attacking football. It was perhaps the best game of the season.”

Benkovic is on-loan from Leicester City for the rest of the season. He could play a massive part in the rest of the season if he stays fit.
