Ange Postecoglou is always good for a one liner. When it comes to the Scottish media and the line of questioning they take the Australian down, it’s only a matter of time before Ange decides to go rogue and make them feel silly for asking the question.
Celtic have a top squad, not just starting XI at the moment. Instead of the squad that has been assembled by Ange being praised. The Celtic manager was being asked how he attempts to keep everyone happy when they’re not in the team.
The media looking to poke around to see if there’s any discontent behind the scenes from players who aren’t getting as much game time.

Ange had been asked this question a few times as of late and when again pestered about it on Saturday evening, he responded in true Ange fashion.
The Celtic manager told the Daily Record: “Everyone keeps saying I have to keep everyone happy. It’s not my role to keep anyone happy. Am I supposed to go around making them cups of tea or buy their wife some flowers?
“They should be happy with a smile on their face every day because they’re doing what they love and representing a fantastic football club. There’s always going to be competition for places and things change pretty quickly in football.
“Their role is to be ready to be called upon and that’s what they do. In terms of the guys on the bench today, irrespective of whether they’re starting or not, they’re contributing.
“And we’re going to need them. At the moment players are missing out but at the business end of the season when games have real consequences – we’ll need everybody.”
There are so many memorable quotes from the Celtic boss. He never says anything for the sake of it. Everything he does say, even when he’s being a bit mischievous, has a point.
The Celtic gaffer is absolutely right. Anybody part of this current Celtic squad should be delighted. The manager utilises large swathes of the squad through his five subs during a game. It’s very rare the manager doesn’t use them all.
The squad seems pretty together anyway. Trying to sow seeds of doubt is pretty futile at this point.
