ANGE POSTECOGLOU has confirmed that Celtic are still looking to complete some transfers as the window draws to a close.
There could yet be a few exits, with Celtic looking to ship off some of the deadwood in the team but also make some additions before the deadline.
Ajeti’s departure earlier on Wednesday almost definitely means that the club will look to bring a striker in to add to the strength and depth of the squad.
Speaking live on Premier Sports, Postecoglou confirmed there is business still to be completed, and the club are busy working ahead of the Thursday deadline.
“There’s some things happening, but I’ll be on a bus for the next few hours. I’ll find out when I get off. I’m sure other people are working on it”
After Wednesday night’s team selection, it’s the benefits of having a big squad filled with quality are clear to see. Celtic can rotate the team and still put on a good performance and score a few goals.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the final hours of the window, with a holding midfielder and striker desirable for the fans.
