Celtic are currently in the midst of one of the busiest periods of the year in the world of football. It seems as though at the minute, the Bhoys are playing every few days.
Next week, however, there is a short gap in action. Celtic take on Hearts this Saturday at 3 pm and their next match is not for another week after this. Brendan Rodgers’ men don’t welcome Livingston to Parkhead until the 23rd of December.

This gives the team a week of rest and recovery going into four crucial games before the winter shutdown. Particularly for teams like Celtic, such a break is hard to come by, particularly during the festive period.
The players and management, though, will in no way be complaining and will welcome it with open arms. They will aim to utilise it to full advantage because, from the Livingston game onwards, the Scottish champions have four matches in ten days.
