I think we can call out former striker a journeyman and this point.
Since leaving Celtic, Anthony Stokes has been all over the world and not too much success. Stints in Greece, Turkey and Iran have all ended on a bad note with the player leaving his club without consent on at least two of those times.
Anthony is a good striker and has a lot to offer an SPFL side, that’s why I was delighted to see Livingston picked the Irishman up.
Back in Scotland, the player should be able to settle and make his mark at Livi.

Stokes played his best football for Celtic playing off Gary Hooper during Neil Lennon’s first stint as coach. The striker was also part of that famous Hibernian squad who won the Scottish Cup.
Anthony has his off the field problems, but now is the time for the player to knuckle down and show what he can do. Wouldn’t mind a few goals going in against our title rivals either!
