‘The most underrated player at Celtic’ – These Celtic Fans Have Their Say

Celtic smashed St Johnstone 7-0 in their first game of the season. This game following the four legs they’ve played so far in the Champions League qualifiers where they have also hardly put a foot wrong.

Players are being rightfully praised for their performances over the last few weeks, but there’s one man that isn’t getting enough credit for the role he’s played in Celtic’s season so far – Nir Bitton!

The midfielder turned defender has been superb for the club as he becomes the ultimate utility man for the Scottish champions.

The Israeli is only getting back into the swing of things after a nearly a year out of the game and he’s lapping up every minute he gets on the football field. If he was a new signing this summer and played as he has so far, people would be praising him big time.

He’s part of the furniture and people know he’s playing till a hole so his praise has not been as loud. What Nir has proved over the last five games – there could be a future for him at Celtic beyond this season and I’m not the only one to think so.
