The 18-year-old forward, who currently plays for Herediano, has been making waves with his performances this season.

These efforts have not only put him on the radar of several European clubs but have also earned him a spot in Costa Rica’s squad for the Copa America, where he made history as the youngest player to represent his country in the tournament.

According to Football Scotland, Celtic’s interest in Rojas could see them securing his services for a fee of just £800,000. This relatively modest sum indicates a potentially low-risk, high-reward transfer for the Scottish champions.

He’s a player who possesses a lot of potential and if Celtic do decide to push ahead with the transfer they won’t exactly be investing a lot in transfer fees.

The opportunity to compete in the UEFA Champions League Group Stages could be a significant lure for Rojas, despite the likelihood of him starting as a developmental player under Brendan Rodgers.

With clubs from both Europe and the Americas showing interest, Rojas reportedly prefers a move to Europe, which could see Celtic getting him for even cheaper, if he does push for a move.
