Celtic’s Head of Football Operations, Paul Tisdale, will arguably be one of the busiest men at the Hoops today, with the Englishman officially joining Celtic in October after assisting the club during the summer transfer window.
Tisdale’s role involves reporting to the Board and overseeing operations. This includes identifying and developing talent in line with the Hoops’ goal of producing Champions League-calibre players through the Academy and recruitment processes. He also works with the analytics team to improve operations across the board, particularly regarding incoming players.
Despite playing a role during Celtic’s successful summer window, this will be Tisdale’s first chance to make his mark in the Head of Football Operations role. However, this has yet to materialise, with only Jota joining Celtic this month.

Kieran Tierney is set to rejoin Celtic in the summer on a permanent contract. However, rumours of a loan move to the Hoops for the remainder of the season have stalled over the past week, with Kyogo departing and Daniel Cummings reportedly set to join West Ham.
Tisdale will be desperate to secure both a striker and a left-back before the deadline, as, in his role, he will ultimately be one of the first people supporters look to if Celtic finish the window in a worse condition than when they went in.
