The official J-League has tonight posted out an image that will get Celtic fans excited ahead of the next run of games.
The Japanese Leagues English account has posted a picture of both Daizen Maeda and new Celtic signing Tomoki Iwata when they played together at Yokohama Marino’s.
The fact that these two lads already know each others game is a massive plus. The manager knows all about Tomoki’s qualities too which means there’s even more chance of the player hitting the ground running.
Celtic are in all three domestic competitions and if they’re seriously going to chase a treble under Ange, then they’ll need their January reinforcements to do the business, just like last season when Daizen and Hatate came in to make an instant impact.
Ange has already stated it won’t be too long before Tomoki is in the thick of the action. The Glasgow Derby has come too soon for him, but he could be ready to go by next weekend.
