The Friday Night Clash Celtic Fans Should Keep An Eye On

Polish centre back Maik Nawrocki could be set to move to Celtic this summer with reports stating the Hoops have tabled a significant bid for the 22-year-old.

Nawrocki started his career out in Germany with Werder Bremen before making the move to Poland, to play initially with Warta Poznan, in 2021. He soon switched to Legia Warszawa, where he has been plying his trade for the past two years.

Legia are one of the biggest clubs in Poland and are looking to build upon their second place finish in the Polish top flight last season when their 2023/24 campaign commences on Friday evening. They face newly promoted side LSK Lodz at home and Celtic fans should keep a close eye on the Legia lineup for the match.

This is because if Nawrocki is not in the squad, further indications of a potential move to Celtic would be given. One imagines that if he is not included this evening, he may be on his way to Glasgow. The game kicks off at 7.30 pm UK time and the all-important lineups will be out prior to this.
