Celtic appointed Brendan Rodgers as the club’s new manager on Monday at noon.
It was announcement that seemed to be long in the making following the departure of Ange Postecoglou and it is one that has filled many with excitement.
In his first spell as Hoops boss, Rodgers won seven trophies out of a possible seven, helping several players to vastly improve their game along the way.
And in his second spell at the helm in Glasgow’s east end, the 50 year old will be eager to equally help develop numerous members of his squad.
And in my opinion, one such player whom he could help do so is Sead Haksabanovic.
Signed from Rubin Kazan last summer, the Montenegrin has shown in flashes that he can be a key contributor at Celtic.
Prior to the World Cup, he was on a hot-streak although injury and the like halted him.
Moreover, the 24 year old always seems to make an impact off the bench yet it is just about transforming this impressive sub form into starting form.

This is something Rodgers could assist the winger in doing.
In many respects, Haksabanovic is similar to Scott Sinclair.
A left winger who loved to cut in on his right foot, the Englishman excelled under Rodgers in the wide left position of a 4-2-3-1.
Assuming this is what is implemented by the Northern Irishman this time around, this role could be perfect for Haksabanovic.
Furthermore when you look at what Rodgers was able to do with the likes of Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor – bring them from bit-part to big-part players – in his first spell at Celtic, the same could undoubtedly be done for Haksabanovic.
Nevertheless, competition for places out wide in the Celtic team at the minute is colossal.
Despite this, the 24 year old did register a goal or assist every 143 minutes in 2022/23 for the champions – not a bad record considering the inconsistencies in his playing time.
This displays he does have the talent to produce and in a system that could suit him down a tee, it will be intriguing to see what Haksabanovic can conjure up.
