The SWPL season is soon coming to a climax as Celtic Women look to make a late title charge. The Ghirls currently sit second in the table, eight points behind Glasgow City with eight games to go.
Fran Alonso’s side will not give up on their title hopes just yet and between now and the end of the league season, they are due to appear on TV five times following the latest announcement of SWPL broadcast fixtures.
Firstly on Sunday the 30th of April, Celtic host Hibs live on BBC Sport Scotland with the kick off time yet to be decided.
Four days later on the 4th of May, they will take on city rivals Rangers live on Sky Sports at 7pm. This game will certainly be one to watch following a dramatic late equaliser in the previous encounter as well as a shameful headbutt from Gers coach Craig McPherson.
Thirdly, Celtic Women will be on BBC ALBA at 12.10pm when the travel to Partick Thistle on Sunday the 7th of May before their top of the table and crucial clash with Glasgow City is shown on Sky Sports at 7.30pm on Thursday May 11th.
The fifth and final Celtic SWPL match of the season that will be broadcast is on Sunday the 14th of May away at Hibs. This one will be on BBC ALBA at 4.10pm.
Whatever happens, the Celtic support will be right behind Fran Alonso and the Ghirls going into the run in. Anything can happen in football and the SWPL is not over yet.
