Sutton’s Dubai Gers Jibe as He Gives Celtic Dossier Advice

Former Celtic striker turned pundit Chris Sutton has used his RecordSport column to roast The Rangers and their behaviour over the past month.

Chris never fails to give his full and frank opinion and he’s not held back at all with his latest comments

Sutton jokingly questions whether they wrote up the dossier while in Dubai because it’s as poor as their teams form since the trip.

It’s almost as if they went to Dubai for a mid-season break before coming back and producing that quality of dossier.

Evidence of coercion and bullying was on the table before the dossier was released, but having read the 200 pages myself – there’s nothing like that in it.

It has left everyone scratching their heads wondering what all the fuss was about.

Chris Sutton thinks they shouldn’t waste their time with dossiers like this and perhaps make up one that would help bridge the gap between the Ibrox side and the current league leaders.

The Rangers fell away horribly in the second part of the season and Sutton believes deflection is the word of the month at Ibrox.

Here’s Sutton’s thoughts on the dossier:

“It was as weak as the squad’s performances since the trip to the Middle East.

“Rangers need a reality check from the top all the way through. The champions of point scoring who don’t score enough points where it counts. On the park.

“This whole dossier just screams one thing. Deflection, deflection, deflection.

“I’d imagine they’d rather read a 200-page dossier from their manager and players on how they are going to learn from their mistakes as they try to catch Celtic.

“Not 200 pages of drone which, as was said to me by a lawyer friend, looked as though it had been drawn up by a first-year trainee at a big firm.”
