CHRIS SUTTON was winding up Ally McCoist on BT Sport’s Scottish Football Extra on Friday night.
Before Celtic overcame the Ibrox side last Sunday, The former Rangers manager was pictured meeting Ange Postecoglou. After the hug, McCoist sarcastically wished Ange all the best for the encounter.
There’s an edge to Scottish Football Extra tonight. @chris_sutton73 on the front foot 👇, Ally McCoist not happy at all with Rangers just now. Prepare for some shots to be fired and a fall out! Genuinely. All toys out pram 🤦♂️.

In the clip, McCoist looks like he’s been reduced to tears! Mind you, if my rivals had just overturned a twenty-five point gap from the season before and now led by six, I’d feel the same. McCoist also had to watch his side make it two losses this week after Braga bet The Rangers 1-0 in the Europa League.
The Rangers travel to St Mirren on Sunday, a day later than Celtic’s match. Van Bronkhorst’s men face the phycological disadvantage of being even further behind. If Celtic beat St Johnstone on Saturday, the gap will stretch to nine points.
St Mirren may be playing for the three points to make matters worse for the Ibrox side. If Saturday’s results go in their favour, they could be a win away from the top 6.
