CHRIS SUTTON isn’t worrying too much about the departure of Giorgos Giakoumakis from Celtic, despite claiming the Greek is the club’s best finisher.

Giakoumakis has been linked to a Celtic exit after he refused to sign a new deal which failed to match his expectations. There is still hope from both parties that a deal can be agreed upon, but if not, he could be heading for the Celtic exit in January.
The former Celtic striker believes that Postecoglou’s work in the transfer market has earned him the trust to find a striker that’s better than Giakoumakis.
Writing in the Daily Record, Chris Sutton Explained:
“Giorgos Giakoumakis is the best finisher at Celtic. On the face of it, the prospect of him leaving the club would appear a big blow. But the simple fact is fans have to trust that Ange Postecoglou will have all angles covered. The manager has proven already that he has a terrific eye in the transfer market and, if someone goes, the evidence suggests one better will arrive.”
Celtic have already been linked to a few strikers since the Giakoumakis story broke, with it evident Celtic are preparing for an exit just incase the Greek does leave the club in January.
Regardless if he stays or goes, you’d imagine Celtic will look to bring in a striker, with the club relying on Kyogo and Giakoumakis for the first half of the season.
