Sutton Will Send Ibrox Mob Into Meltdown

The new Rangers* “fans” get their only snippets of gloating these days when Celtic lose in Europe. On Thursday night they crawled up from under their rocks to put the boot into an under-par performance from the Hoops.

Celtic were playing Valencia, nobody was expecting the Bhoys to run away with three or four goals but they did give a poor account of themselves. Brendan Rodgers made a fantastic quote during the season about “Keeping his eye on his own garden” and not looking over the wall at the neighbours.

Them pesky neighbours should heed the invincible bosses philosophy. The paint is only dry on Celtic’s loss in the last 32 of Europe and the same Rangers fans have gone back into hiding. Chris Sutton’s latest tweet might drag some of them from under their rock.

Sutton was always a dead cert for a wind-up after a 0-0 bore fest at Ibrox. This time he might have a point. St. Johnstone had the better chances to take all three points from the game. The Rangers were left looking for one of their famous Ibrox penalties to get a goal, on this occasion, it was not giving.
