Sutton Reacts to ‘Nightmare’ for Ange Postecoglou

CHRIS SUTTON was at Celtic Park on Thursday evening to watch his old sidce breeze into the semi-final with a 3-0 win over Raith Rovers.

Goals from Jota, Abada and Turnbull won the game but there was a mystery at full time. Celtic fans inside the ground were wondering why they didn’t get their first look at new striker Gorgios Giakoumakis.

It has transpired the player pulled up in the warm-up and it’s being treated so seriously the new Celtic signing is already away for a scan this evening.

Sutton reacted to the news on social media.

Celtic have only had one fit striker since Kyogo went down injured days after Celtic sold Odsonne Edouard and offloaded Leigh Griffiths.

Ajeti has been getting the game time but he isn’t the answer for Celtic in the long term.

Having Giakoumakis in our back pocket, ready to play on Thursday evening was delivering some much needed firepower upfront, but that was snatched away from Celtic and now we await the results of the scan.
