CHRIS Sutton has suggested that the speculation surrounding Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou’s potential move to Tottenham Hotspur may yet take some unexpected turns.

In recent days, it has been widely speculated that Postecoglou will meet with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy early next week to discuss a possible move to the London-based club.
Such a move would likely come with a significant increase in salary, though the pressure of winning trophies will still be high, despite the club not winning anything significant in 15 years.
While the Scottish media appears to view the move as a foregone conclusion, English outlets suggest that Postecoglou is one of several names on Tottenham’s shortlist.
Luis Enrique, who boasts an impressive managerial CV, is also available and may be more palatable to Tottenham fans.
There are also other managers in the mix, but it’s believed that Postecoglou is at the top of the list.
Sutton shared his thoughts in his Daily Record column.
He wrote:
“What will be, will be with Postecoglou, and I still suspect there will be some twists in this tale. But if he does go, the Celtic players will be out to make sure he leaves on a high – as much for themselves as for their manager.”
He concluded by noting that after the final whistle of the Scottish Cup Final, all attention will be on Postecoglou’s future, without the distraction of a potential treble-winning match.
