Chris Sutton has praised Celtic’s performance on Saturday at Fir Park as Outstanding after seeing the bhoys put five past Motherwell in their first away day.
Sutton has been hypercritical of the club and not bringing in more faces for the challenges ahead but today he held his hands up and praised the team for their efforts.

Celtic went 1-0 down in Motherwell but that lead only last around a minute and a half before Ajer had the ball in the back of the net for the bhoys. It would then be magic from Leigh Griffiths to pull Celtic ahead and they never looked back.
It was a top second half performance with a reemergence of Olivier Ntcham as a major midfield influencer.
Celtic have got all six points from their first two games scoring twelve goals. Not bad for a side who is deemed to be a work in progress.
This shouldn’t deflect from the fact Celtic do need to bring in some more quality but it proves we have depth and have goals everywhere in this side.
Sutton also branded an Ibrox fan jealous after he posted about the victory.
