CELTIC and Motherwell have been locked in talks for days now with how to proceed with the David Turnbull transfer after his medical revealed he will need minor surgery on his knee.
This would leave the player out for ten weeks or so with Celtic footing the bill for his surgery if they sign the player right now. Parkhead chiefs have been trying to work out a deal with the Motherwell but according to reports the Steelmen are standing firm with the club and may not be willing to budge on any concessions.
