Former Celtic player Stuart Armstrong took to social media at the weekend to hail his side’s battling performance against Arsenal and made sure to make comment of the non preferential treatment he got from his old teammate Kieran Tierney.
Armstrong and Kieran are both invincible treble Celts and are good pals from their days at Lennoxtown. However, as Armstrong alludes to and the picture posted – Kieran wasn’t giving his old pal an inch during the game.
Arsenal and Southampton played out a 2-2 draw in the Premier League. Southampton, still trying to regain their pride after the shocking 9-0 defeat to Brendan Rodgers Leicester. Arsenal have their own mounting problems – struggling for wins and the manager under a lot of pressure as a result.
It’s good to see Armstrong post this after the game in recognition of his old teammate as they did battle on the park.
