Celtic appear to be losing the battle to start trials on supporters coming back into grounds after the latest statement from the club.
There was a hope Celtic would hold a trial at the end of this month to begin the process of getting supporters back into the stadium. While the statement doesn’t reveal the status of this, the wordage and statement from Peter Lawwell appears to suggest they have been rebuffed by the Scottish government.

Celtic and the supporters are obviously eager to get back to normality but we can’t fall into the trap the UK government is setting out.
Boris Johnson says fans could return to stadiums down south by October even though the science suggests that shouldn’t be the case.
I’m desperate to get back to watching Celtic but only when things can be right. The last thing we need is a stoppage during our ten in a row season because we’ve jumped the gun.
