Strahinja Pavlovic Interest Makes Parkhead Exit Likely for Rodgers Signing

IF reports are true Neil Lennon was in Wales on Thursday night looking at a potential young centre back according to SunSport, then it surely spells the end for Brendan Rodgers’ signing Jack Hendry at the club.

So far, Celtic have brought in Christopher Jullien and Hatem Elhamed who can both play centre back, with Jozo and Ajer also in the mix and the potential emergence of Partizan defender Strahinja Pavlovic, there’s no room for the Dundee signing at Celtic Park.

The player has yet to be seen in a competitive squad in the first three Euro games and wasn’t used by Neil Lennon last season when he was the interim boss.

In fact, the Irishman has opted to play a midfielder at centre back rather than call upon Hendry. It’s pretty clear the writing’s on the wall for the young lad.

He’s not managed to cement a place in the side the few chances he’s got and after failing to impress Brendan Rodgers it looks like Neil Lennon will also pass over the defender.
