CELTIC B are gearing up to finish the season strongly as they embark on the final four league games of the season, starting with a trip to Ibrox.

On Sunday, a trip to Ibrox is lined up for what will be the third face-off against their rivals this season.

Coach Stephen McManus expressed his optimism for the upcoming game to Celtic TV, claiming that they treat The Rangers with the same level of respect, and expressed his contentment with the season that the Bhoys have had. McManus believes his team is in a good place and ready to take on the challenge.

“The boys don’t treat any game differently, if I’m being honest. They come in and we analyse every opposition that we are going to play.

“We treat every team with the same level of respect, but we also focus on ourselves and how we are going to perform.

“We spoke about this before, the ups and downs of young players’ performances because the hardest part is trying to find that level of consistency.

“We feel as if the boys have performed very, very well this year. Yes, there have been dips there is no doubt about it.

“But over the course of the season we have been delighted with the performances of the players, which has been the most important thing.”

The Hoops will be without striker Joey Dawson, who confirmed that he won’t be back on the pitch until the next calendar year, undergoing surgery in recent days. The Englishman has a good record against his rivals, but he won’t be able to add any goals to that for this match.

There will be no away fans in attendance for this fixture at Ibrox.
