The name Stefan Scepovic will be remembered by many amongst the Celtic support as a player who cost a fairly handsome fee and didn’t make to much of an impact.

Scepovic made the switch to Celtic in September 2014 for a fee believed to be around £2.3 million having had an impressive spell with Spanish side Sporting Gijón.
Having made 25 appearances for the Hoops during his first season at the club under Ronny Deila he scored a total of five goals but didn’t appear to make too much of an impression on the Norwegian boss who was content enough to send him out on loan the following season to Getafe. In the season under Deila, he won a League and League Cup double.
The Serbian international then made the move back to Spain a permanent one and has since had a total of seven clubs in seven years.
Scepovic most recently signed for A-League side Brisbane Roar where he will remain until the end of the season [@brisbaneroar].
At 33-years-old, the striker is now coming towards the back end of his career and by the amount of clubs he has been at during his career has never properly settled anywhere.
He’ll be remembered amongst the number of players which Celtic have spent decent money on that didn’t work out.
