Former Celtic midfielder Stiliyan Petrov was in attendance at the 20th anniversary of the club’s Player of the Year awards last night.

The Bulgarian was on stage presenting the Goal of the Season award alongside Shaun Maloney.
Kyogo Furuhashi won the accolade for his strike against Rangers in the New Year Glasgow derby at Parkhead.
It was a fine finish from the Japanese frontman but Matt O’Riley stole the show on Saturday.
The Danish midfielder opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a thunderbolt into the bottom right corner and all-round, put in a terrific performance despite a penalty miss.
O’Riley dominated the middle of the park and he rightly picked up the Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year, and Young Player of the Year accolades on Sunday night.
He has had a sensational campaign, and Petrov lauded his derby display when speaking to CeltsAreHere at the weekend.
He said: “I love watching him, I’ve watched the way he has matured, the way he plays, I think he has got more to offer.
“Yesterday was a masterclass from Matt O’Riley; the way he played and the way he took his goal.”
The 23-year-old was rightly given Man of the Match at the weekend, but he did miss a penalty.
Indeed, Petrov joked that O’Riley should have given the responsibility to Joe Hart: “I still think Harty (Joe Hart) should have taken the penalty, but that’s my view”, joked the legend.
“But I think Matt O’Riley deserves it (Player of the Year), truthfully deserves it because he has been outstanding and very consistent.”
