CELTIC’S Supporter Liaison Officer John Paul has provided some major travel advice for Celtic fans on Sunday due to scheduled rail work.

JP has alerted fans that there will be no trains in Dalmarnock or Bridgeton this Sunday when thousands are set to descend on the East End for the final Glasgow Derby of the season
Important travel info for Sunday @ScotRail have advised that due to engineering works there will be no trains to Dalmarnock and Bridgeton on Sunday, please plan accordingly

However, it would appear this would be another gaff by the SPFL, either that or they simply didn’t bother checking the travel side of things before scheduling the fixture for Sunday.
It would appear ScotRail have had these works planned for MONTHS while the fixtures were only finalised weeks ago.
The staggering thing about these rail engineering works planned for this Sunday it that they have been scheduled for months.
Yet still the @spfl and @policescotland scheduled our game for this Sunday and at midday.

The preference was to play Celtic vs The Rangers in the first game after the split but Po0lice Scotland and the SPFL wanted to prevent a title clinching scenario in the Glasgow Derby and rescheduled it for this Sunday.
We now have a title clincher scenario and two railway stations out of commission which is going to cause a major headache.
We would be interested to hear if this was even part of the discussion before the fixtures were finalised.
ScotRail have yet to confirm the number of replacement buses which will operate for the game.
