Squad Latest – Karamoko Dembele Green Light

TODAY we looked at the possibility of Karamoko Dembele making the first team squad for the Motherwell game.

The player turns 16 on Friday and will be eligible to play for the first team at that time. With Armstrong Oko-Flex earning a place on the bench for the Kilmarnock visit last Sunday, Brendan Rodgers has shown a willingness to bring young talented players into the fold.

Both Karamoko and Armstrong have been training with the first team as of late and giving the young Celtic starlet a taste of what’s to come could be in the Celtic manager’s mind.

If it doesn’t come on Sunday you wouldn’t bet against it happening before the end of the season.

Mikey Johnston got a taste of first team football in Rodgers first season and Ewan Henderson was rewarded lately with an appearance from the bench.

The bhoy has the talent to break through and it seems a matter of ‘if’ and not ‘when’.
