Celtic has announced that tickets for their upcoming away match against Hibernian at Easter Road on August 11 are now available for purchase.
However, in a recurring theme from last season, the ticket allocation for Celtic fans has been reduced. During their last visit to Easter Road in February, Celtic was allocated 3,624 tickets. This time, the number has been decreased to just 2,930 for away supporters. That’s 694 fewer tickets that are on sale this time around.

Last time out at Easter Road, Celtic relied on two Adam Idah penalties to win them the three points, leaving with a 2-1 victory. The second penalty came in the 92nd minute.

The reduction will leave fans frustrated. Tickets were already extremely hard to get before the cut, now, with the reduction, they’ll be like gold dust.
For those who are unable to get a ticket, Sky Sports have chosen to show the 12.30 kick-off, and will be live on their channels.
