The meeting to end the season has now concluded after two hours of talks but nothing has been finalised with BBC man Chris McLaughlin claiming it will be next week before Celtic are champions.
Some Celtic supporters were braced for a potential title party this evening but it will have to wait a bit longer until everything is signed and sealed.
The move would also relegate Hearts so there also could be some hold up because of this.
SPFL meeting finished. League season won’t be called this evening. More likely next week.

Celtic are thirteen points clear and had the season progressed to its natural conclusion the bhoys and the support would be enjoying trophy day this weekend.
Instead, we are waiting for the SPFL to sort out the paper work before it can be officially confirmed.
The bhoys are worthy champions, there’s no doubt about it. Tonight Club Brugge were names champions of Belgium to follow France and PSG a couple of weeks back.
It’s only a matter of time now.
