THE SPFL has decided not to request clubs play the English national anthem in honour of King Charles‘ coronation this weekend, leaving it up to each individual team to decide. [SPFL]

Premier League clubs had received a request from the governing body to play God Save The King.
This means that the six home clubs this weekend – Hibs, Motherwell, Ross County, St Johnstone, Hearts and Rangers – will be able to make their own choice.
This weekend marks the first game after the split and, should Celtic win their match at Tynecastle, they can officially be crowned champions.
Celtic fans have made their stance on the monarchy crystal clear in recent times, with the most recent protest coming on Sunday at Hampden. Fans were chanting “Shove your coronation up your a***”
It’ll be interesting to see what Hearts decide to do on Sunday, with Celtic set to visit at 14.15.
