SPFL Confirm NEW ‘Review’ into EBT’s

Fans are rightly sceptical but are we now seeing the first step in healing the wounds that have plagued Scottish football for over a decade.

Rangers crass and illegal use of EBTs has been swept under the carpet for some time, with inexplicable decision after another and a lack of transparency.

As the new SPFL board met today it has emerged that they will now look into this after the Supreme court ruled that Ranger’s use of EBT’s was entirely illegal.

If the big man upstairs endowed you with at least half a brain then that clearly tells us that the old club gained a material competitive advantage against the rest of the league – paying players absorbent amounts that they could not otherwise afford.

Fans will be sceptical, but we must take this as a small victory for today in a journey where we will find many trying to shut us down. Whether that’s for ideological reasons or covering their own backside, the truth and the widespread cheating that plagued our game will not be allowed to go unpunished.
