FRASER FORSTER looks set to become a Celtic player five years after leaving the club for Southampton.

With the move being a season-long deal things will progress pretty quickly.

However, STV reporter Raman Bhardwaj has told his followers there WILL be a recall option for Southampton in January.

Should Celtic fans be alarmed the goalkeeper could be called back in January?

The way we see it – Southampton don’t want the player and he’s surplus to requirements. Given Fraser’s speciality position the English club are covering themselves just in case they face a goalkeeping injury crisis. Only under those parameters would the player be called back.

There’s also no guarantees at Celtic either and should Fraser not make his mark in the first team then Celtic could cut ties with the loan.

Given his wage demands, if Fraser sits on the bench more often than not it could work out better for Celtic.
