The more players return from injury, the more chance your favourite Celtic player has of been benched or dropped. Competition for places is good, especially at this stage of the season.
The Celtic squad at the moment is nowhere near full health, in fact, it is one of the worse seasons fans have had to endure for injuries. That’s why Celtic fans are perplexed at two decisions for today’s clash with Aberdeen at Paradise.
First up, it’s in the in-form French Eddie. For some reason, Lennon has put the record transfer back on the bench after he played two up front at Easter Road last week. Some Celtic fans need to see two forwards starting so they can sleep better at night.
The other player that was completely excluded from the squad is the newest signing Bayo. Fans were expecting to see him making the bench today after his impressive display for the reserves. A game Neil Lennon attended.
