Ole Gunnar Solskjær has refuted claims Scott McTominay will be allowed to leave on loan this window after Sky Sports reported Celtic were ‘locked’ in talks to bring the player.
McTominay has dropped out of the side under Ole after Jose Mourinho’s sacking last year, and it was believed the club were getting set to loan him out so he could play first team football elsewhere and keep developing.
Solskjær is the caretaker manager until the end of the season and has got off to a phenomenal start at his old club.

Most Celtic fans will not bat an eyelid if Celtic fail to sign the player in this window with most fans believing attention should be elsewhere.
The defence is in badly need of an overhaul and future stars who can start now with a view to becoming first team defender’s next turn when our current central pairing move on.
