Most Celtic fans will be aware of Ola Solbakken. He’s a player that put Celtic to the sword in the Europa Conference league this season with his current side Bodo Glimt.
We exclusively revealed a few months ago Celtic were offered the winger at the beginning of this season but the hoops opted not to pursue a deal for the player.
RecordSport are now claiming the Hoops are seriously looking at bringing Ola in this summer.
The player’s Bodo contract runs out at the end of December, meaning the player can speak to clubs in the summer about a pre-contract.
Ola is being tracked by a number of clubs and Celtic want to be in the mix. Ange was impressed with the winger’s showing during the Uefa Conference league and he could add a real presence to Celtic’s attack given his height.
Ange has made it clear already that he wants to further strengthen his side this summer. Could Ola be part of the next phase?
