SKY SPORTS have took a huge weight off of publicans shoulders this afternoon by confirming for they will no longer be charged their Sky Sports sub until love sport is back on the box.
Some pubs we spoke to directly are paying over 2k per month for a subscription to play live sports in their bars.
Bars will begin to feel the pinch if they haven’t already. Every little saving helps to keep businesses afloat and staff in employment.
Say there’s not live sport for four or five months, that’s a significant amount of money and saving that can go to paying staff and other parts of the business.

Still no word for home subscribers who will be looking to cut their own costs during these unprecedented times.
We contacted Sky Sports on Tuesday but we’re fobbed off with the line they’re giving most home customers at the moment.
