Reports broke earlier today about Neil Lennon’s Celtic status being secure despite going thirteen points behind their rivals in the title race.
This has now been confirmed by Sky Sports journalist Anthony Jospeh who reports the Celtic manager is in charge and will take the time against Lille on Thursday night.
No changes expected at Celtic.
Neil Lennon retains the support of the board, who publicly backed him last week.
He will prepare the team as usual for their #UEL dead-rubber against Lille on Thursday.https://t.co/TTJWPh5Jm1 pic.twitter.com/mdn1ee898J

There appears to be a sustained effort to try and get Neil Lennon to the Scottish Cup final on December 20 by this board and see where the cards fall after that.
We look dead on our feet under the current manager who has blamed the players for not being fit enough to start games after the latest league debacle. By Neil’s on admission, he’s tried everything but the players aren’t responding to him and he’s out of ideas yet the board continue to back a lame duck.
It beggars belief that our fanbase is being so wildly ignored by the people in charge of our club
The board made this decision today is excepting that the ten is gone and are just happy to continue down this path of self-harm. This will become a major issue during season ticket renewals.
