ANDY WALKER has used his platform on co-commentary for Sky Sports to declare he condones cheating on a football pitch.
Livingston midfielder Shaun Byrne took a blatant dive just outside Celtic’s area and was rightfully booked by referee Kevin Clancy.
However, what was said in the aftermath of the incident had us raising our eyebrows.
Walker said it’s good to have a player in your team who can maybe simulate well and win their side and then followed it up by saying he had no problems with Byrne whatsoever trying to cheat to win a foul.
This is going out live into many peoples homes and Walker, a former professional footballer is giving the rubber stamp to cheating.
It’s the epitome of the kind of stuff Scottish football fans are subjected to when watching their side on Sky Sports.
Walker has become a parody of himself in recent years and seems to thrive on making idiotic comments.
