Reports from Spain claim Celtic could make a move that may well just be the signing of the summer.
The club have been reportedly scouting Deportivo La Coruna defender Fabian Schär.
The player is currently on World Cup duty with Switzerland, but it’s believed Celtic are prepared to play the long game in the quest for the defenders signature.
Schär, 26, only signed for the Spanish side last summer and has made 27 appearances for them in his time so far.
The player is open to another mover, especially if there’s European football involved.
The fee Deportivo are likely to look for is around £3.5million, well within Celtic’s wheelhouse.
