Shambles – Fresh Twist for Celtic Bhoys on International Duty

Scotland got correspondence through social media alone that Czech Republic had effectively cancelled their fixture with the Scots for Monday. However, no official word from UEFA or the countries FA had been forthcoming.

It appeared as if Celtic players would be released early from international duty as a result of the fixture not going ahead – something which would be welcome from a Celtic point of view.

Sky Sports has revealed the Scottish FA have been told to prepare as normal for the game on Monday and that no official postponement or cancellation has been rubber stamped at the moment – it’s all a bit of a mess.

We’re unsure if there will be an early return for Celtic players at this juncture but if the Czech Republic are adamant they’re not playing due to coaches and players catching the virus – it seems inevitable.

It could end up in. a farce where Scotland travel over only to be told the game won’t go ahead. UEFA need to get their act together to prevent a shambles.
